![]() ![]() ![]() There had been many earlier flintlock rifles produced, but Remington far exceeded the shooting ability of many. It features a gas-operated action with a gloss-finished walnut stock. Remington was established just after the War of 1812 by Eliphalet Remington II. It was only produced in rim fire cartridges and may be found in the three variations shown here plus military and Boy Scout models. The Remington Model 33 is an American bolt-action rifle.
